We asked our guide "who is allowed to use this pool". And the answer is unbelievable: Nobody, except the employee of Hearst Castle, but only two hours each year ... without anyexception.
The rigor of this regulation is only outbid by the regulation for the indoor pool. Nobody is allowed to swim, except you are an employee and it's your last day of work.
