we had an exclusive tour through the shop / workshop from "Tesla Motors".
Tesla Motors invented sports cars that drive only with electrical energy,
with more than 240 horsepower, and an average fuel consumption of 2 Euro / 100km - out of a socket.
We went into the store to look at the cars and suddenly we got an tour!!!
The cars only have three gears (foreward, backward, neutral) and save their energy in 6381 common laptop batteries. With 500kg the battery-pack is the haviest component of the car, because the whole body is made of carbon.
We even were allowed to step into one of this remarkabel cars. "Yves" car is the advanced edition with 288 horsepower! Unfortunatly we were not allowed to drive!!!
But it was really cool to look at every detail of the cars.
Antonia and Maja had their driving-experieces even without driving :-p, proofed by this picture:
